How Does the Energy Savings Calculator Work?
The energy savings calculator estimates your potential from four inputs: building year, living area, heating type and insulation status. From these we derive typical consumption benchmarks for buildings like yours and convert them into concrete figures using current energy prices and the applicable BAFA and KfW subsidy rates.
The result shows where your building stands today: realistic annual heating costs, how much an energy renovation could save you, and the government funding you can expect.

The calculator uses typical consumption benchmarks and gives you a solid first orientation. Exact figures for your building come from an on-site energy audit — with inspection, measurements and individual analysis.
